Anointing of the Sick

Reconciliation

1.      Penance: a certain number of prayers to say, or fasting, or the giving of alms, or acts of mortification, or a way of the Cross, or a rosary. It's a way to make up for the sin and to show the sincerity in our sorrows

Matrimony

2.      Contraception: Things used during sex to prevent the woman from getting pregnant

Holy Orders

1.      Diocese: an area that contains many parishes that a bishop oversees
2.      Vicar: title for the pope; someone who stands in the place of someone else
3.      Synod of Bishops: a group of bishops from all over the world who help assist the pope so the catholic church can grow closer and stronger in their faith
4.      Ecumenical Council: a council that comes together to talk about matters of doctrine and practice
5.      Infallibility: without error
6.      Imprimatur: works that have been printed, deserve to be printed and distributed to Catholics
7.      Parish: a church within a diocese
8.      stole: a vestment that the priest wears around his neck; hangs down at the front
9.      Dalmatic: a big tunic that the priest wears

Baptism

5.      Catechumens: someone who is learning the principles of Christianity

Confirmation

1.      Confirmation: receives the Holy Spirit
2.      Fruits of the Holy Spirit: charity, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, generosity, gentleness, faithfulness, modesty, self control, and chastity
3.      Pentecost: when the Holy Spirit came down upon the apostles
4.      Sponsor: people who represent the church
5.      Confirmation name: a saint that the candidate picks  to guide them
6.      RCIA: adults who are interested in joining the faith are introduced and guided to Catholicism
7.      Gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, fear of the Lord

Eucharist

1.      Consecration: when the priest breaks the bread
2.      Tabernacle: where the Eucharist is held
3.      Eucharist: body of Christ
4.      Transubstantiation: when the Eucharist and wine actually become the body and blood of Jesus
5.      Transcendence: the idea that God is different from his children; he is beyond it
